The Benefits of Crew Cab vs Quad Cab Trucks

Narrowing down your search for your ideal pickup truck is a lot easier when you choose to explore RAM trucks. However, you’ll still need to consider the benefits of crew cab vs quad cab trucks to land on the right option for you.
Thankfully, our team here at Twin Lakes Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM will be happy to go over just what makes each cabin option unique and what the main differences are between them.
Crew Cab vs Quad Cab
When you choose a RAM 1500 half-ton pickup truck, you’ll get plenty of custom options for your rugged pickup truck, including what type of cabin you want. The standard cabin on all models is the quad cab, which can accommodate up to six passengers depending on the model. While this cabin option doesn’t offer as much legroom as a crew cab, it does come standard with a 6’4” bed.
The crew cab also offers room for up to six passengers and offers ample legroom to stretch out while seated in the back. The crew cab option comes standard with a 5’7” bed but you can also still get a longer 6’4” bed with the crew cab model, which extends the length of the overall frame.
RAM Interior Features
While the interior of many pickup trucks isn’t always a highlight, the interior of the RAM 1500 offers a surprising level of luxury, with available leather seating, wood paneling, and an available 12-inch infotainment touchscreen display. You can also make your interior more serene with available active noise cancellation and an available dual-pane panoramic sunroof.
