This one works a little differently. Every team that plays nominates a local family before the outing — and the team that posts the winning net score doesn’t take home the prize. Their nominated family does.

How it works

Enter a team

$1,250 puts a four-person team on the course with carts, dinner and a hole sponsor sign of your own.

Nominate a family

Name one local family you want to play for. No hardship story required — just a family you’d like to see catch a break.

Play for them

Best net score wins. The winning team’s nominated family drives home a vehicle. Second and third place families receive $1,000 and $500.

What the winning family receives

  • A reliable used family vehicle — van or SUV, under 100,000 miles, with a retail value exceeding $25,000
  • 3-year / 36,000-mile comprehensive limited warranty — no deductible, provided by Twin Lakes Chrysler
  • 3-year maintenance plan — also provided by Twin Lakes Chrysler
  • Inspected, serviced, detailed and fueled before it’s handed over
  • All dealer fees, sales tax and the first year of registration paid

2nd-place family: $1,000 cash or pre-paid card.  3rd-place family: $500 cash or pre-paid card. 100% of event proceeds benefit the nominated families — anything remaining is split among the families who don’t place.

The day

  • 9:00 AM Registration opens
  • 10:00 AM Shotgun start — 18-hole, 4-person handicap scramble
  • 1:00 PM Nominated families meet at the Tippecanoe Country Club clubhouse for a meet-and-greet and lunch
  • Afternoon Contest holes: closest to the pin, longest drive, longest putt
  • 5–6:00 PM Dinner, awards, and the vehicle handoff

Net score wins. Handicaps are self-reported and capped at 20 — no official GHIN handicap needed, and no professional golfers. Ties are settled with a chip-off.

Nominating a family

Each Family Team Sponsor nominates one local family to play for. You don’t need a hardship story — just a family you’d like to see catch a break. Nominations are made on the Family Nomination Form (page 2 of the registration packet), and teams may change their nominated family right up to the day of the event.

A nominated family qualifies if they:

  • Live within a 30-mile radius of Monticello, Indiana
  • Have a primary contact who is 18 or older with a valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Can title a vehicle in Indiana
  • Attend the event and are present at the awards ceremony
  • Sign a media release (photo, video and name usage)
  • Are not a Twin Lakes Chrysler employee family or a sponsor family

On event day, all nominated families meet at the Tippecanoe Country Club clubhouse at 1:00 PM for a meet-and-greet and lunch.

One family per team, one team per family. Families do not need to have children, may include a relative of a golfer, and may be nominated again in future years if they don’t win.

What is the Keys for the Community Golf Outing?
A golf fundraiser hosted by Twin Lakes Chrysler at Tippecanoe Country Club. Teams compete on the course, but the prize goes to a local family. Each team nominates one family before the outing, and the winning team’s nominated family receives the vehicle package.
When and where is it?
Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Tippecanoe Country Club in Monticello, Indiana. Registration opens at 9:00 AM with a 10:00 AM shotgun start. Nominated families meet at the Tippecanoe Country Club clubhouse at 1:00 PM for a meet-and-greet and lunch, and dinner and awards run from 5:00 to 6:00 PM.
How many teams can play?
The field is limited to 20 teams, first come first served. Registration and payment close October 2, 2026 and are non-refundable. Walk-up teams are not accepted.
What does the Family Team Sponsorship include?
$1,250 covers a four-person team with carts, a hole sponsor sign, the chance to nominate one eligible local family, and dinner for your team plus your nominated family (up to four members).
Can my business sponsor without playing golf?
Yes. Beverage Cart sponsorship is $1,000, Dinner is $500, a Hole sponsor sign is $100, and donation sponsorships are accepted in any amount. None of these require playing.
What does the winning family receive?
A reliable used vehicle — a van or SUV under 100,000 miles with a retail value exceeding $25,000 — inspected, serviced, detailed and fueled, with a 3-year/36,000-mile comprehensive limited warranty with no deductible, a 3-year maintenance plan, and all dealer fees, sales tax and the first year of registration paid by Twin Lakes Chrysler. The family must be present at the awards ceremony to win. The prize has no cash value and may not be exchanged for cash.
Who is eligible to be nominated?
Families living within a 30-mile radius of Monticello, Indiana, where the primary contact is at least 18 years old, holds a valid U.S. driver’s license, and can title a vehicle in Indiana. The family must attend the awards ceremony and sign a media release. Twin Lakes Chrysler employee families and sponsor families are not eligible. A personal hardship story is not required.
Do golfers need an official handicap?
No. The format is an 18-hole, four-person handicap scramble scored on net score. Handicaps are self-reported and capped at 20, and no official GHIN handicap is required. Professional golfers are not permitted.
What happens to the proceeds?
100% of event proceeds benefit the nominated families. The second-place team’s family receives $1,000 and the third-place team’s family receives $500, in cash or a pre-paid card, and any remaining proceeds are split evenly among the nominated families who did not place.
What if it rains?
Twin Lakes Chrysler will communicate any weather-related updates directly to registered teams ahead of the event.

The fine print

Limited to 20 teams and 20 nominated families, first come first served. Team registration and payment are due by October 2, 2026 and are non-refundable; walk-up teams are not accepted. The vehicle package is awarded to the winning team’s nominated family, not to the golfers. The nominated family must be present at the awards ceremony to win. The prize has no cash value and may not be exchanged for cash; if the winning family declines, the vehicle must be donated to another eligible family present at the event. If the winning team’s family is not present, the prize passes to the family of the next-best-scoring eligible team. Participating families must sign a media release covering photo, video and name usage. The vehicle is a van or SUV with a retail value exceeding $25,000; its make, model and year are selected by Twin Lakes Chrysler and are not advertised in advance, and vehicles shown in event artwork are illustrations. Nominated families meet at the Tippecanoe Country Club clubhouse at 1:00 PM on event day for a meet-and-greet and lunch. Twin Lakes Chrysler is a for-profit business; contributions to this event are not charitable donations and are not tax-deductible.
